Join us for a 45-minute cooking demo and Q&A where UCSB undergraduate and Kapatirang Pilipino member Carrieanne Mamba (@ceezymamba) teaches us how to make turon, a popular Filipino dessert. Kapatirang Pilipino (@kpucsb) is a Filipinx/o/a-interest org at UCSB! Their mission is to provide creative venues for social interaction through political empowerment, Filipinx/o/a American cultural and ethnic awareness, and promotion of academic excellence at UCSB and its surrounding communities.
