AS PROGRAM BOARD wants to properly welcome all students to UCSB the right way, with our annual Welcome Back Concert. What brings people together better than the power of music and the entrancing energy of a great concert! We present to you Borgore as our headlining performer and Brass Knuckles as our opening performer!
‘Asaf Borger, better known as bass culture’s very own Borgore, brings more than just fresh tracks but an entire experience to his fans. With his engaging live shows and thriving social media presence, it is no surprise the 25 year-old DJ recently sold out 1,300 tickets for two nights at renown Music Box Theatre in Los Angeles in a single hour. The producer/songwriter has become one of the world’s biggest dubstep DJs working along side artists including Tiesto, Hardwell, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Rusko, and 12 Planet. Originally, his inspiration came four years before his big break from a Tel Aviv indie club where he first heard of early U.K dubstep tracks. Borgore explains, “hearing that was super life-changing; I loved drum and bass, trance, and hip-hop, and dubstep brought all of that together! It made me feel something I’d never experienced before.”
Borgore is fully prepared to wow fans with his newest released tracks and an energy packed performance.’
