BRANCHEZ: “After breaking onto the scene with his self-released tracks “Treat You Right,” and “Shake”, Branchez received international acclaim for his bootleg of Rihanna’s “Stay.” Supported on Diplo’s Endless Summer Playlist in NY Magazine, the viral bootleg is a sign of Branchez’ pop sensibility. A few months later, OWSLA released a Branchez remix of What So Not’s single “High You Are.” The track, arguably as popular in dorm rooms as it is with fellow DJs and producers, shot up the Hype Machine charts and quickly grabbed the #1 spot. In addition to these crowd-pleasers and his arsenal of original material, Branchez has produced official remixes for Rockie Fresh, Stalley, Tokimonsta, Mat Zo and Wet, and produced a track for the Casey Veggies & Rockie Fresh “Fresh Veggies” mixtape.”

TRIPPY TURTLE: “Trippy was born on a beach somewhere in Europe. From an early age he was exposed to skinnydipping scandinavian women and rnb-music on wack boomblasters. One summer night, Trippy was caught in a fishing net and came aboard a boat from Jersey. Talking his way out of becoming a stew, he became friends with the crazy chef Molly which fed him with all sorts of crazy things. It is widely believed that this caused the trippyness of Trippy. After many weeks, the boat arrived in Jersey and our hero started his journey to the other side of the street. On his journey he met many other cool party-animals and together they formed an infamous gang. One day it all changed… Trippy got into a fight with Disco Duck and was tossed into a wall. The sounds the shell made shocked the crew. Turtle called his mother and she confessed his long lost father was indeed… an 808. With his new found roots, Trippy told his friends and family that he wanted to do music. The gang scraped together all their sardines and traded them for a macbook. They now take turns throwing Trippy at the macbook and record the outcome.”

CONVEX: “Zack Morgan created Convex when he re-directed his focus as a rock guitarist to creating electronic music. Influenced largely by Deorro, Above&Beyond, Andrew Bayer and TJR, Convex’s productions achieve distinctive energy, with breakdowns reminiscent of trance anthems and drops inspired by hard electro. A popular attraction of the UCSB house party and club scene, Convex is noted for compelling live performances that have generated both an avid following and an impressive collection of noise ordinance citations. Beyond Isla Vista, Convex has energized venues in downtown Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.”
