On Thursday, June 1, ASPB will host An Evening with Stephanie Hsu in Campbell Hall at 7PM.
Stephanie Hsu (pronounced SHOE) stars in the Academy Award-winning Best Picture Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which she received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and nominations for the Critics’ Choice Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She won a SAG Award (Best Ensemble) for her work as ‘Mei’ on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Stephanie originated the roles on Broadway of ‘Karen The Computer’ in SpongeBob the Musical and ‘Christine Canigula’, the lead in the cult-hit Be More Chill, for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.
Stephanie can currently be seen in the Disney+ series American Born Chinese, opposite Michelle Yeoh; and in the anthology series from Rian Johnson, Poker Face (Peacock), as well as in the lead role in Joy Ride, a comedy feature from Seth Rogen and Lionsgate in theaters summer 2023.
