We are doing it again! ASPB is definitely kicking off this school year jam packing it with as much awesomeness as we can give you all! Wavves will be playing in the UCSB HUB October 25, 2013 along with Cosmonauts. Along with all of the events we have coming to you guys, this concert is definitely one to check out! Get hyped, and be sure to get ready because this performance is sure to be a knockout, and the best part of this is that it’s open to the PUBLIC. *Get to know Wavves!*
Working with renown producer John Hill, the dynamic duo Nathan Williams and Stephen Pope, better known as Wavves, has recently taken their music to a whole new level, packing even bigger and bolder sound in their recent 2013 release “Afraid of Heights.” Formerly flying solo as an artist, Williams’ collaboration with bassist Stephen Pope has helped metamorphose Wavves from a small lo-fi rock band uploading digitally downloadable forms of music with hand crafted album covers, to pop-punk gods performing in front of thousands at festivals such as Leeds, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. The Wavve’s effortless and whimsical sound has without a doubt captivated the attention of many including several noteworthy music blogs and fans from around the world. Now on the Mom and Pop record label, home to highly respectable artists such as Sleigh Bells, FIDLAR, and Flume, the pair are sure to bring refreshing, new sounds and an electrifying stage presence.
