AS Program Board Presents… An Evening with Monte Booker, a production workshop & interview, on Thursday July 23rd, 2020 at 7 PM (PST).
This event is free and closed to UCSB students.
Chicago-based producer Monte Booker is certainly one to watch. The 25 year old, best known for his TikTok smash hit, “Kolors”, began making music in 2012 after hearing Kendrick Lamar’s “The Recope”, and thanks to digital music sharing platforms like SoundCloud, Booker was able to grow a loyal following. Known for his creative beats, Booker has become a force in the industry and has collaborated with artists like Smino, Ravyn Lenae, and Masego.
Aside from solo projects, Booker is also part of the music collective, Zero Fatigue, founded by Smino and featuring Bari, Jay2, Ravyn Lenae and Nosidam. Join us this Thursday night to get inside of the brain of one of the most uniquely talented people in the industry!
