Aaron Jerome, often known by his stage name SBTRKT, began his DJ career in London. Since then, he has remixed songs by multiple well-known artists, such as M.I.A. and Radiohead. He has also released a self-titled album, which features his hit single, “Wildfire.” SBTRKT has a unique style of London dubstep, which includes both acoustic and electronic drums, as well as keyboards and vocal loops. While performing, he is known to wear native ceremonial masks to support his idea that anonymity is key to his artistic identity. According to Jerome, “[I would] rather not talk about myself as a person, but let the music speak for itself.”
